This past week has gone very well. Bryan, Elizabeth, and I are all adjusting to life as a family of 3. We are pretty sleep deprived, but are very happy! We have had so much help from our families and friends in the past week. My mom stayed with us for most of the first week which was a huge help, thanks again mom! Now we have officially been on our own for the past week and we are adjusting nicely. Elizabeth is such a good baby! She is extremely laid back (I have NO idea where she got that from!) We feel so blessed to be her parents.

On Tuesday, Mimi and PaPa Garrett came down from College Station to visit. They were at the hospital for her birth, but didnt get to see her much due to her stay in the NICU. It was a very nice visit! Mimi made us some of her delicious chicken tortilla soup and PaPa ran up to Sam's to help us stock up on some essentials. Thanks for visiting us and for all that you did to help us!

Later in the week my good friend Tracy came to visit Elizabeth for the second time. We had lots of fun with her!

On Saturday, Bryan and I took Ellie to League City to visit Grandma and Grandpa for the first time. This trip was dually special because we were able to celebrate Grandma's birthday! We had a special dinner- shrimp scampi fettucini, caesar salad, and birthday cake for dessert. We really enjoyed our relaxing trip and even got to take a walk with Elizabeth around my parents new neighborhood. We had a great time and were so happy to visit you!

Wide AwakeOn Sunday, Aunt Kim, Uncle Chris and cousins Tanner and Addison came and brought us dinner and met baby Elizabeth for the first time. We had a very nice time and were glad to see them. Thanks for coming to see us and for the delicious meal!
We also had our first visit to our pediatrician Dr. Alley. He was really nice and very thorough. Elizabeth weighed 6 lbs 10 oz and looked great on her exam. We have to go back this week to re weigh her to make sure she has regained her birth weight and get her second state screen.

Elizabeth is beautiful, happy and healthy and you three make the most wonderfully adorable family. Congrats!
She's getting cuter by the minute! Looks like your whole family is smitten...as they should be. I love her cheeks! I'm so glad that she's been such a good baby. I know that you and Bryan are wonderful parents, and that you are taking the BEST care of her. Sending good vibes your way for a bit more shut-eye!
That is a very little baby you have there! Congratulations new mom and dad!
